What is RigMetric?

RigMetric is a PC game performance checker. Select a GPU, CPU, RAM amount, game and resolution to receive an FPS range, recommended settings and a likely performance limitation.

Are the FPS numbers exact?

No. Most results are estimates based on RigMetric's performance model. When a sourced benchmark matches a supported configuration, the result is labelled as benchmark-backed or reference benchmark information.

What is a benchmark-backed result?

It is a result based on a published test record with a documented game, GPU, CPU, resolution and settings. RigMetric keeps the source and test configuration with the record.

What is a 1% low?

A 1% low is a performance metric that describes the slower part of a measured run. It can help show how smooth a game feels, because an average FPS number alone can hide occasional slowdowns.

Why does RAM matter?

RAM can affect whether a game meets its memory needs and can influence stutter and consistency. Integrated GPUs also use system memory, making memory bandwidth and channel configuration especially relevant.

What are DLSS and FSR?

They are upscaling technologies that render internally at a lower resolution and reconstruct the image for display. When supported, they can improve performance while aiming to retain useful image quality.

Why can my real FPS be different?

Real performance can change with drivers, game updates, thermals, power limits, background applications, RAM configuration, VRAM limits, graphics settings and the exact scene being rendered.

Does RigMetric test my PC automatically?

No. You select your hardware manually. RigMetric does not perform a hardware benchmark on your computer and should not be treated as a replacement for an actual in-game test.

What does “Main Limitation” mean?

It identifies the component RigMetric expects to constrain performance most strongly for the selected game and hardware. It is a guidance signal, not a diagnostic measurement.

Can older or integrated graphics work?

Yes. RigMetric is intentionally designed to include older GPUs and integrated graphics. Results for these systems can be more sensitive to RAM configuration and shared-memory behaviour.

How should I use a low FPS result?

Try a lower resolution, lower graphics preset, supported upscaling or resolution scaling. If the result remains very low, the hardware may simply be below a practical performance target for that game.

Can I report an incorrect benchmark?

Yes. Use the Contact Us page and include the game, GPU, CPU, RAM, resolution, preset and source if available. Benchmark records are reviewed before being changed.
